The team leaves Tuesday, 10/14 for Fastrak National nights 2 and 3 at Elkins, NC and Wythe, VA. Despite running half the races Dick finished 4th overall in the Fastrak National Weekly points and 2nd in the Fastrak Northeast Region points.

Thursday at Challenger, Dick started on the pole for his heat, finishing 2nd. Started 10th for the feature and again finished 2nd. Friday the team didn't fare as well. After starting in the front row of his heat Dick was involved in a wreck. Started the B-main in the back and raced to 5th but not enough to make the show.

This weekend the team will be in Mercer for the FASTRAK Nats night #1.

Racing friends, The Harmony Historical Society has completed its documentary film on the Roll-O-Bowl Speedway. The premiere will be held Sunday, September 28th, 1:00 pm, at the Jackson Center, 305 East Fourth Street, Jamestown. Roll-O-Bowl was a jalopy track located near Panama that operated from 1956-1960 and launched the careers of Ron Blackmer, Jim Scott, Skip Furlow, Johnny Whitehead, Marty Rater, and Stan Stevens among others. I was fortunate to have a role in researching and producing the film. I think you will be pleased with the results. There is no charge to view the premiere.
